Booking a room at the Northcote Town Hall
| Seven rooms are available for hire as well as two studio spaces and the newly refurbished Main Hall.
Many of the rooms are multipurpose and can suit a range of events, functions, conferences and meetings.
As well as being an ideal performance and conference space, many of the rooms are used for rehearsal groups, children's music groups and passive recreation spaces for yoga, pilates and tai-chi.
Audio/visual equipment, catering equipment and kitchen usage is also available for hire for groups using the venue.

| Function and Party Room Hire | | Functions include trivia nights, birthdays, baptisms, reunions, fundraisers, weddings, engagements, wakes, anniversaries, cultural celebrations, family reunions.
All functions must finish by 1am. No extensions will be given.
There are two types of function bookings: 9 hours and 5 hour function bookings.
The rooms available to hire for functions are:

| Performance, Rehearsal and Events Hire | | Hire includes theatrical seasons, art exhibitions, markets, corporate trade shows, conferences, festivals and rehearsals.
Rooms that are available to be hired for performances and events are:
Main Hall
Studio 1
Studio 2
Foyer and Bar available with prior approval from the Venue Manager
Room Hire Costs
Meeting rooms are also available for rehearsals and charged at meeting room prices.
A minimum of two hours is required for each booking. No regular or permanent bookings will be taken. All bookings must finish by 1am. No extensions will be given.
All technical equipment and assistance (eg. lighting, sound, staging, technical assistance) will incur a fee. Please view our Audio/Visual and Theatre Equipment Rates page for prices.

Rooms are subject to availability, so it is recommended to contact us during office hours for room availabilities. Tentative bookings can be made by phone or email and are only held for a week.
It is greatly suggested that you read the 2009-2010 Conditions of Hire before sending a booking application. By signing a booking application, hirers are adhering and agreeing to the Conditions of Hire.
