Who do I contact about bookings?
To enquire about booking a room, call (03) 9481 9500. Our staff will be happy to provide you with information regarding availability of rooms. If you wish, you can make an appointment to view the rooms to confirm their suitability for your purposes.

How do I book a room?
To book a room you must complete a Venue Booking Form and return it to us at Northcote Town Hall. The booking form can be downloaded from our website in our Forms and Rates page, and is also available from Reception. A booking can not be confirmed until we have received a completed and signed booking form either by email, fax, or in person.

What types of rooms are available?
We have seven meeting rooms, two function rooms, two multipurpose studio spaces with a foyer and bar, and the Main Hall. Please visit our Rooms for Hire page which contains more information about our facilities.

How many people do the rooms hold?
The different meeting rooms have capacities ranging from 15 to 140 people depending on the type of set-up. The studio spaces will hold 160 and 100 people respectively theatre style. The main hall will seat 400 theatre style, or 250 for a banquet. Please visit our Rooms for Hire page which contains more information about our facilities.

What facilities are available?
Northcote Town Hall has wheelchair access, disabled toilets and a baby change room. The Studios and foyer are equipped with a hearing loop.

Can I hold a performance or exhibition?
Studio 1, Studio 2 and the Main Hall are all available for performances. The studios are equipped with fixed lighting bars. Studio 2 is ideally suited for art or photographic exhibitions and is fitted with a hanging system.

What equipment is available?

Do you provide technical back-up?
We can provide limited back-up only. Northcote Town Hall does not employ any specialist IT or technical personnel.

Where can I park at the Northcote Town Hall?
The Northcote Town Hall does not offer a carpark for its hirer's, but there is side-street parking for 1-2 hours or all day parking. For more information about parking and public transport, please visit our Location & Map page.

What other venues are available locally?
